International Delegations And Trademissions
The Chamber hosts delegations and business representatives seeking
prospective local partners and products exposure. Chamber members
are invited to meet with these delegations when appropriate.
Recognizing the importance of these meetings, the Chamber asks
that all participants meet strict requirements.
Trade Mission Guidelines
- Advanced notice of eight weeks is required for all trade missions.
All request must be made in writing and addressed to the
St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Department of Trade

- Request will include detailed profiles of each company on the
trade mission
- Company Name
- Full address and contact name
- Detailed description of company and industry
- Web Site and e-mail address
- Year company was formed
- Objectives of coming to St. Maarten / Saba / St. Eustatius
- The entity responsible for organizing the trade mission will
be assessed a fee. The fee will be determined based on size of
the delegation and administrative cost. Administrative cost include
mailing, printing of invitations or flyers and food & beverage.
- The delegation leader or representative will work closely with
the Chamber’s Department of Trade to fulfill the needs of
the trade mission.
- Five weeks prior to the scheduled date, the Chamber will determine
whether there are an appropriate number of companies to continue
the matchmaking and mission. If possible at that time area businesses
profiles will be forwarded to the Delegation leader or representative
of the mission.
- The Chamber will determine the location of the matchmaking
session, based on size and scope of the incoming delegation.
- The Chamber is not responsible for any follow-up or administrative
duties after the mission is completed.
